Tammy ElbaumTammy L. Elbaum has extensive experience in Commercial litigation including real and personal property litigation, creditor’s rights and banking law, receiverships, judicial foreclosures, loan workouts, real property and mixed collateral lending. Her clients include financial institutions, including Fannie Mae, banks, corporations, and court-appointed receivers. Ms. Elbaum has handled numerous litigation matters in state, federal and bankruptcy courts. Ms. Elbaum has also handled preparation of documentation for business clients including preparation of contracts, loan agreements, security instruments, purchase sale agreements and financing statements.

Ms. Elbaum received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from U.C.L.A. in 1986, and her Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola Law School in 1989. During her time in law school, Ms. Elbaum was an Extern for U.S. District Court Judge Matthew Byrne of the Central District of California. Ms. Elbaum has also acted as a Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles Municipal Court. Ms. Elbaum has also been a licensed California Real Estate Broker since 2002.

Prior to joining Hershorin and Henry, LLP as Of Counsel, Ms. Elbaum worked as a sole practitioner for several years, and prior to that worked for firms such as Arter & Hadden and Lewis, D’Amato, Brisbois and Bisgaard.
